Marketing Assistant – Titles Book Store January 2010 to August 2010

  • Redesigned the Titles staff website.
  • Redesigned the “Made by Mac” contest website for McMaster University and Apple Incorporated.
  • Responsibilities include: designing promotional posters and monthly e-mail advertisement notifications, photographing, editing, and uploading product images to the web, designing and implementing internet flash banners.

Web Editor – The Silhouette Newspaper December 2007 to April 2010

  • Created the original website to meet the online demands of 30,000 print readers. The newspaper’s website eventually reached an average of 2,000,000 online hits per semester.
  • Weekly responsibilities included: posting articles and images online, managing comments, and performing site maintenance.

Teaching Assistant – McMaster University May 2008 to April 2010

  • Taught six introductory classes (with approximately forty students per lesson) covering the topics of web design and photo-manipulation.

  • Wrote and Directed The Cardboard Box for Black Box Fire’s “Emerging Artist Series”.
  • In charge of set and lighting design.
  • Honorarium.

Community Involvement:

Vice President – McMaster Digital Games Group April 2009 to April 2010

  • Organized weekly/monthly gaming events.
  • Recruited over one hundred active members.

Web Design – Casket Cases September 2009

  • Designed the website for McMaster’s Theatrical Production of Casket Cases.

Set Construction – Footloose June 2009

  • Set design team member for McMaster’s Musical Theatrical Production.

  • In charge of monetary budgeting for the year.
  • Designed posters and promotional material.

  • Designed multimedia elements for the stage play, Eurydice.

  • Spotlight and set construction for the McMaster Summer Drama Festival’s production of Six Women with Brain Death.

  • In charge of  lighting operation systems for Black Box Fire’s theatrical production, Stop Kiss.
